Charity Fraud Awareness Week – protect your organisation

26/10/2026

Charity Fraud Awareness Week runs from 2–6 November 2026, with free resources, training and practical guidance to help charities reduce the risk of fraud and cybercrime.

It’s a useful opportunity to check what your organisation already has in place and make sure staff, volunteers and trustees know what to look out for.

How can your organisation get involved?

During the week, you could:

  • talk to staff and volunteers about common fraud risks
  • review your current processes and controls
  • join one of the available webinars
  • use the free fraud prevention resources with your team
  • share useful guidance with trustees and colleagues

Free fraud prevention resources

The Prevent Charity Fraud website has a range of free resources that can be used during the week and throughout the year, including:

  • fraud risk assessment templates
  • practical guidance and helpsheets
  • free e-learning
  • webinars
  • case studies and research
  • cyber security guidance and training
