The Festival of Trusteeship 2026 takes place online from 9–13 November, as part of Trustees’ Week.

Hosted by Eastside People, a social enterprise offering charity consultancy and recruitment services, the festival is a week-long online series of online panel discussions, workshops and webinars.

It’s designed for people who want to become trustees, existing trustees who want to keep learning and developing, and charity leaders looking  to understand best practice in board governance, trustee recruitment and diversity.

What can you expect?

The festival includes:

• Daily sessions with expert speakers
• Live Q&As, real-world case studies, and practical tools for trustees
• Topics covering diversity, youth voice, leadership, board dynamics, legal responsibilities and more
• A supportive space to ask questions, challenge thinking and share trustee experiences
• Opportunities to connect with fellow trustees and others working in the charity sector

How much does it cost?
